Let the Justin Bieber Big Pot Scandal of 2013 begin.
Days after a paparazzo was killed while trying to take pictures of Bieber's Ferrari, photos have emerged of the 18-year-old singer smoking what looks a lot like a marijuana cigarette at a big party inside a Newport Beach hotel room on Jan. 2, says TMZ.
TMZ claims it obtained the snaps of Bieber holding an alleged blunt and laughing with friends, including 19-year-old rapper Lil Twist, who was driving Bieber's car at the time the paparazzo was killed on a highway in Los Angeles on Jan. 1. According to sources at the party, Lil Twist and his brother were the ones dishing out the pot to guests.
After the photos surfaced, Bieber took to his Twitter to issue an apology of sorts.
"Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up," he wrote last night. "Back on tour tomorrow. ready to see u all smile. time to do what im supposed to be doing. performing. #BELIEVEtour."
TMZ reported last week that the photographer who was struck by a car and killed while trying to photograph Bieber's car told colleagues he saw the singer smoking pot earlier that day.
