ATLANTA -- Clemson was the winner of the Chick-fil-A Bowl after scoring a touchdown and a field goal in the final 2:47.
Chandler Catanzaro kicked a 37-yard field goal as time expired to give the 14th-ranked Tigers a wild 25-24 win over No. 9 LSU. Tajh Boyd completed a pass for 26 yards to DeAndre Hopkins on a fourth-and-16 play during the decisive 10-play drive.
The game-winning kick came after Clemson missed a potential game-tying, two-point conversion following Boyd's TD pass to Hopkins with 2:47 to play.
Boyd completed 36 of 50 passes for 346 yards with two touchdowns for the Tigers, who trailed 24-13 entering the fourth quarter. Hopkins had three receptions during the game-winning drive and finished with 13 catches for 191 yards and two TDs.
Clemson finishes 11-2 while LSU ends up 10-3.
